Working in collaboration with Heart for People Uganda (HFPU) and partner organizations, this community medical outreach reached approximately 200 people in Lugwara Quarters, Mayuge District, Uganda—an underserved community facing significant social, economic, and healthcare challenges.
The outreach provided:
Free medical consultations and treatment
Laboratory and diagnostic services
Health education and disease prevention awareness
Humanitarian support, including essential assistance to vulnerable families
This initiative contributed to the advancement of SDGs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 17, demonstrating the power of partnerships in creating sustainable community impact.
IPC Headquarters commends Ms. Stellah Nassuuna for her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving her community. We also recognize the collaborative efforts of Heart for People Uganda (HFPU) and all partner organizations whose support helped make this initiative possible.
This activity has officially fulfilled the first mandatory monthly activity requirement under Ms. Stellah Nassuuna's IPC Global SDG Leadership portfolio and sets an excellent example of the standards and impact we encourage throughout our global network.
As our leaders continue to receive training, guidance, and institutional support through the IPC Leadership Academy, we look forward to even greater impact, stronger partnerships, and expanded community engagement across the world.
Together, we are turning global commitments into local action—one community, one leader, one SDG at a time.
